About Our Doctor
Dr. Karen Ghatore
Dr. Ghatore is a Pacific Northwest girl through and through — born in Canada, raised in Seattle, and now proud to call Portland home. She earned both her undergraduate degree in Public Health and her Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Washington.
Known for her gentle, patient-centered approach, Dr. Ghatore is passionate about evidence-based dentistry, patient advocacy, and honest communication. Her goal is to help every patient feel comfortable, confident, and well cared for at each visit.
Outside the office, Dr. Ghatore is a foodie who enjoys dancing, cooking, writing poetry, traveling, exploring cafés, and spending quality time with her loved ones.

Colette
Practice Manager
Colette has worked in the front office since 1992 and is our practice manager. Although her job can be demanding, it brings her much joy and happiness as she gets to meet and greet all of the patients that either call or walk through the front door. When she’s not working, she loves spending time with her husband, three children and volunteering, she is currently a Chemo Pal for the Children’s Cancer Association.
Valeriya
Dental Hygienist
Valeriya was born in Ukraine, the oldest of six children. She moved to Portland Oregon when she was 8 years old. She went to Portland State and then on to Mt. Hood Community College where she received her degree in dental hygiene. Valeriya’s hobbies include hiking, baking, playing volleyball and traveling. She loves Ukrainian food especially when prepared by her mom and grandmother.
Kaitlyn
Dental Assistant
Kaitlyn was born in New Mexico but raised in Portland, Oregon. After working as a caregiver for 4 years she decided to go to dental assisting school in Vancouver Washington. She graduated and has been expanding her skills at Whole Health Dentistry since then. When she’s not in the dental office, she can be found in the gym or spending time with her two sons and her fiancé.
